Destiny 2 Raid Guide

Loadouts: The Rundown

Now we're going to be going through loadouts, and how to maximize your utility during the raid process. Many people choose weapons that they think might work, however, they fall short when it comes to damage per shot. I will explain here what the new meta is for weapons in raids.

Now, your kinetic and energy slots don't have too much of an affect on your overall DPS output, so here we'll only be discussing the heavy weapon slot and one of the only energy weapon that has a good effect.

Heavy Hitters

Due to Destiny 2's season 15, fusion rifles and linear fusion rifles have been extremely strong, and you won't see an LFG, or discord that doesn't require them. Pictured below is the One Thousand Voices exotic heavy fusion rifle which has become the most dominant weapon among Raiders. It utilizes a heavy blast of energy to deliver an extremely damaging shot on bosses. Paired with the seasonal modifications, it is truly unstoppable.

Also pictured below, is the second strongest linear Fusion Rifle, The Sleeper Simulant. This weapon fires a heavily concentrated beam that absolutely melts enemies. It used to be the strongest linear fusion rifle before it was dethroned by One Thousand Voices.

The last two pictured are Cartesian Coordinate and Reed's Regret. Both of these are also extremely useful, but come with randomly generated abilities that could be useful, or not. Cartesian can come from random drops throughout the game, whereas Reed's Regret only comes from the highly competitve PvP experience, Trials of Osiris.
